    The Challenge

    Copper Canyon Mill Works is a custom cabinet manufacturing company in Arizona handling complex residential and commercial projects worth tens of thousands of dollars each. Their operations span sales, engineering, production floor management, field installation, and multi-phase billing — but all of it was being tracked manually across disconnected tools. Leads came in through referrals and Google but weren't being tracked systematically. Project details lived in emails. Production status was communicated verbally. Billing was handled in spreadsheets with no visibility into what was overdue or forecasted. They needed a single system that could handle the full lifecycle of a cabinet project — from first contact to final payment — without requiring their team to learn complex enterprise software.

    What We Built

    Sales & Pipeline CRM

    Built a complete lead-to-close sales pipeline with a Kanban-style CRM board. Leads flow through stages — New, Contacted, Qualified, Disqualified, Converted — with full contact details, lead source tracking (Referral, Google, etc.), location data, and sales rep assignment. Connected modules for Appointments, Opportunities, Proposals, and Accounts give the sales team a full view of every prospect and client relationship. The pipeline feeds directly into the revenue forecast on the main dashboard.

    Project & Engineering Management

    Designed a project management system purpose-built for cabinet manufacturing. Each project gets a unique number, tracks client info and site address, and moves through engineering stages with task-level progress tracking. Projects display in list, timeline, and Gantt chart views so the team can see what's active, on hold, or completed at a glance. Sales reps and project managers are assigned per project, and project value is tracked alongside billing and collection percentages in real time.

    Production Floor Dashboard

    Created a real-time production tracking system with four manufacturing stages: Pre-Production Details, Production Ordering, Cutting Checklist, and Final Assembly. Each stage shows pending and in-progress counts so the production floor team knows exactly what's in the pipeline and what needs attention. The dashboard gives management a bird's-eye view of manufacturing status across all active projects without walking the shop floor.

    Field Installation & Service Module

    Built a field operations module for tracking on-site execution and service calls. The system handles Install Work Orders (created automatically when production is complete), Site Measure Requests for pre-installation verification, Punch Requests for post-installation corrections, Field Operations for on-site team scheduling, and Service Calls for warranty work. This gives the installation team and office staff real-time coordination on what's happening in the field.

    Progress Billing & Payment Tracking

    Designed a phased billing system that matches how cabinet projects are actually paid — in progress payments tied to project milestones. Each project generates phased invoices (Initial Deposit, Progress Payment, Delivery, Final) with automatic percentage calculations based on project value. The billing dashboard shows overdue amounts, due now/soon, total outstanding, and collected totals at a glance. Individual invoices track status, email history, and overdue alerts with day counts.

    Operations Dashboard & Resources

    Built a central dashboard that surfaces the key metrics the team needs every morning — open leads, qualified leads, pending proposals, active projects, and total pipeline value. Quick action buttons let staff create new leads, opportunities, accounts, and invoices in one click. A recent activity feed shows what's happening across the organization in real time. Additional modules for Files & Assets, SOP & Processes, Reports, and User/Settings management round out the platform.
